Therefore our surveyors were instructed to prepare an interim schedule of dilapidations for exterior repairs to be undertaken as part of agreement, including works to be undertaken above London Transport lines.
At present we are in discussions with the tenant’s consultants on progressing external repairs and redecorations in accordance with lease requirements.
We read to lease to understand the provisions which involves a detailed examination of the lease, sub leases and any other associated documents such as the licence to alter. The contractual obligations must be understood before appraising any dilapidations claim.
