Client Brief: the long term tenant on the upper floors vacated the property, which had not been refurbished for many years (15+). The works to the upper parts of the property from ground floor entrance to the third floor were refurbished including WC facilities and shower added. The existing interior panelling, cornices, joinery and other details were to be retained as part of the Listed status. There was minor alterations to the ground floor and third floor. The new finishes were subsequently sympathetic to the original style of the building. A full rewire was undertaken including replacing lighting with LED fittings.

Our role: to undertake a survey of the property and existing features and prepare drawings for Listed Building consent. We were appointed as the Principle Designer for the project to prepare tender package including drawings, specification and pre-construction information. Once the contractor was appointed proceeded with contract administrator duties and as project manager liaising and communicating with the whole team.
