Our role

Appointed by the tenant who occupied an office. The information attached to the lease and the licence for alterations was very comprehensive which facilitated getting a good settlement.

We undertook an inspection and advised our client of their likely liability enabling them to make an informed decision on whether they should exercise their break option.

After servicing their landlord with notice that they would be leaving we negotiated a settlement with the landlord.

We were able to agree a settlement figure at a figure of £152,500.00 which our client was happy with. The landlord was registered for VAT and therefore the settlement excluded VAT.
