Description
Instructed to carry out a full externals refurbishment including reroofing works complete of this large Victorian mixed use former warehouse building on Clink Street, alongside the Thames. The reroofing works included new parapet coping stones, a new Kemperol liquid roofing system, restoration of the existing zinc cover flashings and installing new lead flashings, cleaning and reinstatement of shingle to the roof, repairs and decoration of the corrugated metal roof coverings and gutters over the lift motor room and roof level plant rooms and general mastic repairs and decoration of the joinery and concrete columns to the parapet walls. Sympathetic and meticulous repairs consisted of render crack repairs, external cornice repairs, helibar brickwork crack repairs, resin brickwork repairs, concrete window cill repairs, mortar repointing, mastic repairs around the powered coated aluminium doors and windows and timber repairs to the decorative external flood light brackets.

To organise full external repairs and decorations including the replacement of the external floor lights.
Our role
Completed in 2023, we prepared a full tender package and then carried out the role of contract administrator overseeing onsite progress. Working closely with Kemper Systems Ltd to ensure the preparation needed for the correct application of their product was followed to obtain a 25 year warranty for the roof coverings.
