What is the Party Wall Act 1996?

The Act came into force on 1st July 1997 and relates to preventing and resolving disputes between neighbours when certain construction work is carried out. There are three types of Notice under the Act that can be served before a Building Owner can proceed with certain construction work:
– Line of Junction Notice
– Party Structure Notice
– Notice Of Adjacent Excavation

How we can help

As Party Wall surveyors, we use SurvPal software to deliver our services. We also have in-house members of the Pyramis & Thisbe Club professional association which defines Party Wall best practice. We can act for both owners as a jointly instructed Party Wall Surveyor or we can act for a single owner. Either way, we work with all parties to create Party Wall Agreements across London.

Our services include:

– Prepare and serve Party Wall notices, awards and associated administration
– Deliver Schedules of Condition
– Undertake site inspections for the above and to sign off completed works
