Refurbishment works complete for Planet Organic in Islington, carried out by Forward Contracting (UK) Ltd.

Our role provided cost consultancy and project management services for upgrades/reconfiguration works to the retail trading area.

Keys issues were to tie in various client contractors to carry out the following works:

– Replacement of the air conditioning installation/retail unit chiller / refrigeration units and alterations to the existing walk in back of house cold room.

– Upgrading of data, and cctv installation.

– Upgrading of display systems, together with incorporating new branding imagery, service points, and Food To Go counter.

– Replacement of the store’s entrance doors to facilitate new chillers installation and weekend crane lift for external plant replacement to main roof.

A good team effort by all parties to progress the store re-fit within both budget parameters and a tight timescale.
