Our Property Management department took over the management of this former 1930’s cinema from the beginning of 2019.
A once derelict landmark, converted in the 1980s and refurbished in 2000 to give new life to the building and its eight apartments and ground floor retail use. The cinema was opened in 1938 and built in the distinctive “Odeon” art deco style. Although the auditorium was demolished and much of the opulent interior destroyed in 1980’s, the original façade has remained. The building came to Fresson and Tee by referral as a result of a long standing client relationship of our Commercial Agency department. Our client has an asset management plan for the building which will entail external and internal repair and redecoration works over the next 10 years. This works would then be Managed by Fresson and Tee’s architecture and building consultancy department.
